The Law Offices of David L. Hoffman is very pleased to
announce that Albert Wu, Esq. has joined our firm as an associate
attorney. Albert has engineering degrees from U.C. Berkeley and from
M.I.T., and his law degree is from U.C. Hastings. While at Hastings,
he was an extern to a district court judge in the Northern District
of California, and was part of the Hastings Communication and
Entertainment Law Journal.
Albert has eight
years of experience as a patent attorney, and he has worked with a
variety of technologies including electrical, software, and
mechanical applications. Examples of technologies he has helped
protect include capacitive sensors, network storage systems, video
encoding/decoding systems, and micro-electromechanical devices.
Albert also has substantial litigation experience and has succeeded
on appeal. Albert fits in perfectly with the firm's sweet spot of
defense in intellectual property litigation, IP appeals, and patent
drafting and prosecution.
